On March 15th, in Ha noi, the Viet Nam – Japan Exchange Club under the Ha noi International Exchange Center coordinated with the Japan Foundation Center to organise a cultural exchange in Viet Nam under the theme “Viet Nam – Japan spring”.
Diverse cultural activities such as Yosakoi dancing, Karate, Ikido martial arts, Ikebana flower arranging arts, Kimono show, a fair on Vietnamese and Japanese foods, and Vietnamese and Japanese calligraphy were held during the event.
Vice chairwoman of the Ha Noi Union of Friendship Organizations, Vu Thi Hai hoped that the event would promote a greater cultural understanding between the two countries, contributing to popularizing the traditional culture of Viet Nam to international friends and strengthening the strategic cooperation between the two countries that is developing in many fields.
On this occasion, the Viet Nam – Japan Exchange Club will make public its Facebook page and launch a photo contest on the friendship between Viet nam and Japan. The review and reward ceremony will take place in September 2015 on the occasion of the 42nd founding anniversary of Viet Nam – Japan relationship.
