(TITC) - From 11 to 14 July 2015, Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2015 will officially take place in Nha Trang City, Khanh Vinh District and Ninh Hoa Town (Khanh Hoa Province) with many plentiful and attractive activities.
Held biannually since 2003, Nha Trang Sea Festival is one of the most outstanding events of Khanh Hoa tourism to introduce and honor sea-island culture values as well as economy, culture and tourism potentials and strengths of Nha Trang City and Khanh Hoa Province.
This year’s Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Sea Festival with the theme “Peace and Creation” includes many specific culture, sports and tourism activities such as exhibition on sea culture heritage; exhibition on Hoang Sa – Truong Sa documents; semifinal of Miss Viet Nam Universe 2015; nest bird festival; wine festival; XQ Nha Trang festival; Hoa qua son festival; Yang Bay legend festival; coffee festival towards Viet Nam’s sea-island; conferences and seminars on sea-island, tourism investment promotion; folk games, art kite flying; international women beach volleyball championship; national beach handball championship; open international golf tournament... Of which, the highlights of the festival are the opening and closing ceremonies, art program “Homeland sea-island” and international art performance program of art troupes from Korea, France, Japan, Russia, U.S.A…
In particular, at Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2015, the first “Nha Trang Tourism Fair – Welcome Summer 2015” will be held from 3 to 5 July 2015 in 2-4 Square, Nha Trang City with many diversified activities such as selling discount tourism products of summer 2015; mineral mud festival; lucky draw program; selling and introducing fine arts products, entertainment services…
In addition, some responding activities will take place, including sports tournaments in Nha Trang City and the districts, town in the province; activities in response to World Environment Day, World Oceans Day, sea and island week; exhibitions on Viet Nam’s sea-island; street lion dance festival…
With many plentiful and attractive activities, Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2015 is expected to bring interesting experiences for international and domestic visitors; at the same time to be a good opportunity for Khanh Hoa Province to expand exchange, cooperation, cultural promotion and tourism development.
