The 2015 Ha Noi traditional village tourism and cultural festival, the third of its kind, will take place on October 1-4, featuring 300 booths by domestic and foreign exhibitors.
The festival space will be divided into nine sections, one of which will display craft items and host demonstrations by craftsmen, according to the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
International exhibitors, coming from cities and capitals within the ASEAN and the Council for Promoting Tourism in Asia cooperation framework, will take over 20 booths.
The culinary section will showcase cuisines of Ha Noi and participating countries while the tourism section will introduce craft village tours, flight services and tourism promotion campaigns at home and abroad.
During the event, Ha Noi will also stage performances of traditional, martial and street magic arts.
Outstanding craft villages are also expected to be honoured.
