Update: Jun 25, 2015
The southern province of Tay Ninh has announced its master plan for developing the Mount Ba Den National Tourist Area through 2020.

The area, once completed in 2020, is anticipated to draw around 4 million arrivals and will need a total investment of 169 million USD.

The construction of parks, museums and places for ritual activities are also included in the plan.

Ba Den is the highest mountain in Viet Nam’s southeast region with an abundant spectrum of pagodas and caves.

Some upgrades have recently been installed including cable cars, restaurants and shopping malls to serve more than 2 million tourists each year.
