Mekong Aviation JSC (Air Mekong) will launch a new direct route between Hanoi and Con Dao starting on May 19 to meet the growing demand of tourists from northern localities to the southern historical island during the summer.
The two-hour flights will departure from Hanoi at 1pm every Wednesday and Saturday. Air Mekong said it will increase the number of flights to four per week if the demand for travel to Con Dao is increasing during the summer.
The airline is expected to increase the number of flights from Hanoi to Phu Quoc island, to nine a week.
Promotion tickets for the Hanoi-Phu Quoc and Hanoi-Con Dao routes are applied from May 1-20.
