(TITC) - From 19 to 23 September 2015, in Moscow City (Russian Federation), Ha Noi Days in Moscow 2015 was organized by People’s Committee of Ha Noi.
Ha Noi Days in Moscow and Moscow Days in Ha Noi held every 2 years from 2000 in the capitals of the two countries are the opportunity to consolidate and strengthen friendship ties and cooperation between Viet Nam and Russian Federation as well as Ha Noi and Moscow. This year’s event took place on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of Viet Nam – Russian Federation diplomatic relation (1950-2015).
The opening ceremony of Ha Noi Days in Moscow 2015 held in 21 September in Et Setera Theatre (Moscow) with Vietnamese traditional dance, song and instrument performances left the deep impression on Russian people.
Earlier, on the same day, the delegation of People's Committee of Ha Noi had the meeting with leaders of Moscow. Here, the two sides informed each other about the socio-economic situation in recent years as well as some major development policies in the near future of Ha Noi and Moscow; reviewed the implementation situation of signed cooperation agreement documents, and determined focal comprehensive cooperation development directions; exchanged experiences in construction, management, environmental protection; foster the construction project “Moscow House in Ha Noi"; implement the coordination on organizing Viet Nam trade fair in Moscow in November…
In the framework of Ha Noi Days in Moscow 2015, on 22 September, the seminar on trade and tourism investment promotion was held in Ha Noi – Moscow Culture Trade Centre. At the seminar, the delegates were introduced about the potential and the situation of socio-economic development of Ha Noi and Moscow; bilateral cooperation development environment and policies in the fields of investment, trade and tourism; Ha Noi – Moscow Culture Trade Centre and business policies of the centre. The speeches at the seminar also pointed out the opportunities and specific conditions of the two cities in supporting and promoting bilateral trade and tourism investment.
Ahead of the seminar, the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition “Ha Noi - past and present” associated installation art and display of puppets were also organized to promote the beauty of Ha Noi as well as Viet Nam culture. In the evening of the same day, the art performances and exchange with Vietnamese community in Russia was held.
The activities in the framework of Ha Noi Days in Moscow 2015 contributed to improving the position and prestige of Ha Noi and Viet Nam at the same time enhancing bilateral cooperation between Viet Nam - Russia to bring socio-economic benefits in the near future.
