The Department of Performing Arts under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Viet Nam Stage Artist Association, will organize the typical stage festival to welcome 12th National Party Congress from January 12 - 17 in Ha Noi.
The event will gather 10 professional theatrical arts delegations with 11 outstanding stage works.
The Viet Nam National Drama Theatre will open the festival with the drama “Lau dai cat” (Sand castle) at 8pm, January 12 in Ha Noi Opera House.
On January 13, the Ha Noi Cheo Theatre will perform the drama “Canh chim trang trong dem” (White bird in night) at Dai Nam Theatre No. 98 Pho Hue; and the Viet Nam Tuong Theatre will perform “Tinh me” (Mother’s love) at Hong Ha Theatre, No. 51 Duong Thanh.
On January 14, the People’s Public Security’s drama delegation will perform “Duong dua trong bong toi” (Race in night) at Au Co Art Center, No. 8 Huynh Thuc Khang and the Viet Nam Cheo Theatre will put on the “Nhung van tho thep” (Poem full of vigour) at Kim Ma Theatre, No. 71 Kim Ma.
The festival is among the important art and culture activities to express the deep feelings of the people to the Party and Uncle Ho; showing the constant belief of artists in particular and the entire people in general to the Party’s leadership, and affirming the strength of national solidarity to overcome difficulties and striving to successfully implement the 12th National Party Congress’ resolutions./.
