From the centre of Ho Chi Minh City, going along National Road 1 to Tan An City, Long An Province, then continuing to follow National Road 62 about 35km, visitors will arrive in Tan Lap Floating Village.
Tan Lap Floating Village has been planned into the eco-tourism site with the core zone of more than 135ha and the buffer zone of 500ha, including 5km-long path through cajuput forest, 10-floor observation tower with the height of 38m, and many other functional areas such as environmental education, natural reserve, wild animal migration, floating houses on stilts, park, pier… Of which, the path through cajuput forest and observation tower have been put into operation and are considered as the highlights of the eco-tourism site.
To Tan Lap Floating Village Eco-tourism Site, visitors can walk on the path through cajuput forest; or take boat along Rung Canal; view panorama of the cajuput forest from the observation tower; enjoy local dishes; participate in fire camp, barbecue, picnic, team-building... In addition, visitors also have the opportunity to explore cultural identity of local people through traditional crafts (wood carving, boat building...), Don ca tai tu music and song, Go Thap Festival...
