Viet Nam Cultural Heritage Day: Special activities to be held in Ha Noi Old Quarter

Diverse specific and interesting activities will take place in Ha Noi Old Quarter from November 18th to 27th to mark the 12th anniversary of Viet Nam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23rd).

Dao Duy Tu Street is decorated for Viet Nam Cultural Heritage Day

The highlight of the activity series will be art performances at 19h30 on November 18th at the Ha Noi Old Quarter Culture Exchange Centre at No. 50 Dao Duy Tu Street. It will include traditional clothing performances and traditional singing performances. An exhibition of paintings by Nguyen Manh Duc will also be held.

On November 26th, a talk will be held on culture and costumes with former head of the Institute of Folk Culture, Prof. Dr. Ngo Duc Thinh, artisans and experts.

Vietnamese tea will be introduced at the Heritage House at No. 87 Ma May street from November 18th to 20th.

Artisans will perform Vietnamese traditional handicrafts at Kim Ngan communal house at No.42-44 Hang Bac Street from November 18th to 20th.

A photo exhibition on Vietnamese cultural heritage will be organized in pedestrian areas around Hoan Kiem Lake from November 18th to December 31st.
