Diverse activities such as artistic performance of different ethnic groups in the province, folk games, sport activities, an exhibition on sea and island culture and tourism, an exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh’s life and career, and film screenings will be held.

The event is held every two years to preserve and promote the cultural identities of ethnic groups in mountainous areas; promote tourism through historical and cultural sites, and traditional festivals of ethnic groups in mountainous areas, contributing to socio-economic development and consolidating national great solidarity.
