Update: Jul 14, 2017
The Japan National Tourism Organization successfully concluded a ‘Visit Japan Trade Seminar’ in Hanoi on Thursday, July 13, reported the Viet Nam News Agency.

The seminar proved to be a great platform for the delegation from Japan as they got an opportunity to interact with potential trade partners as well as holiday travellers and present their latest offerings to them.

Their objective was not only to understand the changing developments in the Vietnamese market but also to update travel agents in the Southeast Asian country with the latest trends and products in Japan.

The seminar began with a welcome address by Ha Van Sieu, deputy head of the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism, which was followed by a key note address by Takahashi Ayumi from JNTO.

Next were a series of presentations by JNTOs partners including several prominent travel and tour agencies from Kanagawa Prefecture highlighting Japan as an intriguing and exciting travel experience.

According to Mr Ayumi, the Visit Japan Trade Seminar is a significant forum to bring together Japanese travel trade partners and give them the opportunity to showcase their products such as the Yokohama Port City, mineral stream in Hakone, and Kamakura relic site.

In addition, he noted, many visitors to the Kanagawa Prefecture enjoy touring the Ramen Noodle Museum in Yokohama City and attending services and exploring the rich history of the many Buddhist and Zen temples in the region.

Through constant engagement programs such as these with travel trade partners JNTOs endeavour is to highlight Japan as a destination which offers unique diversity in terms of experiences and activities to Vietnamese travellers.
