The central province ranks fourth, behind the ancient city of Hoi An, Ha Noi and HCMC. According to the travel site, Quang Binh is touted as a must-see destination for those wishing to explore the stunning beauty of countless charming destinations such as the cluster of Phong Nha, Tien Son, Thien Duong and Son Doong caves, Da Nhay Beach, Chay River and Toi (Dark) Cave.

The tourism authority of the central province of Quang Binh has this year launched at least seven new tourism products, organize numerous promotion programs and festivals, and inaugurate more flights to the province to bolster tourism.

The provincial government and Jetstar Pacific Airlines have agreed to open Dong Hoi (Quang Binh)-Cat Bi (Hai Phong City) air service in late May this year. An international route linking Dong Hoi City and Chiang Mai of Thailand has also been put into operation.

Following the success of the Hollywood movie “Kong: Skull Island”, directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, with some scenes filmed in Quang Binh Province, the pristine beauty of many caves in the province have captured the attention of many Hollywood filmmakers.
