Update: Nov 02, 2017
The Vietnamese Students Association at Victoria-Wellington University (VSAW) recently held Viet Nam Day themed “V- District: A Step to Viet Nam" in Wellington to promote the image of the country’s land, people, culture and cuisine to New Zealand and international students.

The event helped local and international friends gain a better understanding about Vietnam through art performances presented by Vietnamese students in Wellington and pupils of Vietnamese language class as well as traditional dishes.

The day was held successfully, leaving deep impression on local residents and international friends.

Over the years, the Viet Nam Day has been held by the VSAW with active support from the Vietnamese Embassy and Overseas Vietnamese community in Wellington and the managing board of the night market festival under the Wellington City Council.
