Roadshows promote Viet Nam tourism in Netherlands and Germany

(TITC) – The Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) held a series of tourism promotion programmes in Amsterdam (Netherlands), Berlin and Munich (Germany) from October 9-12.

Viet Nam delegation led by Vice Chairman of VNAT Ngo Hoai Chung, had the participation of representatives of tourism business and airlines such as Saigontourist, Vietravel, Vingroup, Novotel Phu Quoc, Accord, Vietnam Airlines...

Speaking at the roadshows, Mr. Ngo Hoai Chung stressed that beside famous destinations praised by the world's leading medias such as CNN, BBC, TripAdvisor, Telegraph..., Viet Nam also has many new destinations and tourist services as exploring the world famous Son Doong Cave, experiencing the beauty and life of ethnic people in Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, admiring the world heritage site Ha Long Bay from the air, or enjoying the tropical paradise of Phu Quoc Island.

Viet Nam has exempted entry visa for citizens of five Western European countries including UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain for not more than 15 days since July 2015.

In 2016, Viet Nam welcomed more than 10 million international visitors, of which, visitors from Europe accounting for 15%. In 2016, there were more than 65 thousand Dutch visitors (increasing by 22% over 2015), and 176 thousand German visitors (+18%) to Viet Nam.

The roadshows were an opportunity for tourism companies of Viet Nam, Netherlands and Germany to share information, seek cooperation and promote bilateral visitors exchange.
