The Then Singing and Tinh Musical Instrument Festival 2018 will take place in the northwestern province of Ha Giang from May 13 to 14 with the participation of 16 provinces and cities where Tay, Nung and Thai ethnic minorities are living.
The event will also draw the participation of outstanding Then singing artisans from localities, clubs and mass artistic troupes.
It will be an opportunity to popularize the image of the land, people and potential on culture and tourism, cultural heritage values in general and Then singing and Tinh musical instrument of localities.
Besides, it will be a chance for artists to have an exchange, promote traditional values, honour the preservation of arts in association with Tay, Nung and Thai ethnic groups, and contribute to the people’s enjoyment of cultural life.
