There are more than 180 photos on display by artists from 10 cities and provinces in several regions, including Binh Dinh, Da Nang, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Gia Lai, and Quang Ngai, among others.

The exhibit highlights the natural beauty of the regions, people’s daily lives, and the achievements in economics, culture, science, defence and tourism in the localities.

The photos also focus on the theme of safeguarding national sovereignty in border areas and sea and island regions.

The event is co-hosted by the Viet Nam Association of Photographic Artists and the Quang Ngai provincial Association of Literature and Arts.

At the opening ceremony, the organising board awarded a gold medal to Mai Thanh Chuong from Quang Nam Province for his photo entitled ‘Du Lich Sinh Thai’ (Eco-tourism).

Three silver and four bronze medals, as well as seven consolation prizes, were also presented to the other outstanding photographers.
