(TITC) - With the theme “Tam Coc - Trang An Yellow Color”, Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2018 will be held from 9 to 16 June 2018 at Tam Coc – Bich Dong Tourist Area, Ninh Binh Province.
The event aims to promote and introduce the unique features and outstanding value of tourism resources of Ninh Binh Province, contribute to stimulating tourism in the low season and increasing the number of visitors. The event will also be the opportunity for the province to exchange and cooperate on culture, socio-economy and tourism with Vietnamese and foreign localities, and affirm the brand of Ninh Binh Province as a safe, attractive, civilized, friendly and hospitable tourism destination.
Many culture and tourism activities will be organized during the 7 days of the event, highlights of which are activities taking place in Tam Coc - Bich Dong Area, on the rice paddies along Ngo Dong River, and belonging to the tourist route of Dinh Cac - Hang Ca - Hang Hai - Hang Ba. Especially, Tam Coc Food Market and Walking Street will be held from 7.00pm to 11.00pm in all days during the event to offer visitors many delicious specialties and folk art performances, such as ca tru singing, cheo singing, xam singing, etc.
In addition, in the framework of the event, there will be the art photo exhibition on Tam Coc – Trang An reflecting the beauty of Ninh Binh Province with its natural scenery, traditional festivals, customs and traditions, etc; display of traditional handicrafts, etc.
