Exhibition recalls Mau Than General Offensive and Uprising in 1968 spring

A photo exhibition recalling the Mau Than General Offensive and Uprising in the spring of 1968, officially opened in Ho Chi Minh City.

The exhibition was arranged at Lam Son Park, on Dong Khoi Street (in front of the City Department of Culture and Sports) and Thong Nhat (Reunification) Hall.
 
In each location, 88 photos are on display to highlight the major developments of the General Offensive and Uprising in the spring of 1968.
 
The exhibition expressed the fighting spirit of the Vietnamese army and people during the historic campaign in 1968, as well as the great support from the great rear of the North for the southern battlefield, towards the target of national liberation, peace and reunification.

Up until now, the heroic spirit of the Mau Than General Offensive and Uprising in the spring of 1968, has been promoted and become a testament to the revolutionary traditions of Ho Chi Minh City’s people.
 
Also at the same time, the organising board displayed 50 photos themed “Saigon – Cho Lon – Gia Dinh - Epic of 1968 Mau Than Spring” on Dong Khoi Street (the area opposite Chi Lang Park).
 
The exhibition will last until January 15.
