An international jazz festival is scheduled to take place in Nha Trang city in the southcentral coastal province of Khanh Hoa from April 27 to May 1, with the event being the first of its kind in the region.
The first-ever international jazz festival in Nha Trang city jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee will draw the participation of various famous domestic and international jazz artists.
This comes after the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism co-ordinated with the European Commission Delegation in Vietnam and seven European Embassies of Denmark, Wallpnia-Brussels in Belgium, France, Argentina, Luxembourg, Germany, and Bulgaria to organise the jazz festivals in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
The event aims to promote cultural exchanges among Vietnamese people and introduce modern European music to Vietnamese audiences.
The upcoming jazz festival in Nha Trang city is expected to help Khanh Hoa province to reach its target of nine million arrivals, including three million foreign arrivals with tourism revenue of over VND4 trillion this year.
