The programme will gather together more than 300 people from 54 ethnic groups across the country, including Hoa, Khmer, Kinh, Dao, and Ede.

The event will feature a ceremony honouring elders, heads of villages, and artisans whose voices are respected for their contributions to preserving and promoting ethnic culture in their residential areas.

Visitors to the programme will be introduced to many traditional art forms of ethnic groups, such as ‘schay dam’ drum performance, ‘rom vong’ and ‘ro bam’ folk dancing, and ‘don ca tai tu’ folking singing.

Ethnic groups in Soc Trang Province will set up a space displaying their traditional crafts of ‘pia’ cake making and the art of painting on glass, as well as distinctive cuisine and tourist products.

Meanwhile, Central Highlanders will take the occasion to introduce their traditional music instruments, folk songs, and dances about the land and people, as well as their typical OCOP products.

For their part, Dao ethnic communities of Thanh Hoa Province will showcase their worship paintings, traditional costumes, and musical performances.
