A photo exhibition on Vietnamese land and people is being held in the Portuguese capital of Lisbon from August 21.
On display are numerous photos depicting the Vietnamese people’s daily life in Hanoi, Halong, Hoi An and Hue as well as their traditional clothes and customs taken by a Portuguese photographer Ricardo França during his second visit to Vietnam in 2003.
França said the exhibition would help Portuguese people better understand about Vietnam. During his last two visits to Vietnam, França also visited Nha Trang City and the Mekong Delta region where he got good impressions of local people’s hospitality, delicious food and beautiful landscapes.
The exhibition is scheduled to last until September 21.
