Come to Co Thach Pagoda, discover mysterious caves

Co Thach Pagoda in Binh Thanh Commune, Tuy Phong District, Binh Thuan Province is a national relic that lies in a cave 64 meters above the nearby sea and Ca Duoc Beach.

This is actually a complex of pagoda, small temples and small valleys covering over four hectares. The pagoda’s sanctum, mediation areas, worship hall and bell tower are surrounded by caves and seasoned trees. Each cave is dedicated to a Buddhist deity.

Coming here during festivals, tourists can join the animated atmosphere of artistic performances and the solemn religious and cultural rituals. The pagoda often supplies free food for pilgrims. On the way to the pagoda, tourists can purchase utensils and jewelry made from corals and shells of sea snails. Pilgrims can also buy indigenous fruits and vegetarian foods.

The winding stone path leading to the pagoda has statues telling Buddhist stories and the pagoda offers a nice view of the sea and forest below.

Visitors should also get to Ca Duoc Beach, a world of bizarre rocks in different sizes, shapes and colors.
