The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines launched its autumn promotions yesterday, offering special discounts of up to 50% off normal prices on both international and domestic flights.
The promotions will apply to passengers who purchase tickets in Vietnam from between August 15 and 31.
Passengers traveling from September 5 to December 20, 2012 and from March 5 to May 20, 2013 will be offered discounted fares from VND555,000 (US$26.6) to VND999,000 (US$47.9) for one-way tickets on domestic flights, and from VND815,000 (US$39) to VND10,415,000 (US$499.4) for return tickets on international flights, excluding peak periods and holidays.
The airline will sell a total of 300,000 seats, including 200,000 on international routes and 100,000 on domestic routes.
The carrier will also apply additional extra special offers, such as no service fees for online passengers, and free transit for passengers on international flights via Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, departing from Buon Ma Thuat, Da Nang, Da Lat, Hue, Nha Trang, Pleiku, Chu Lai, Quang Binh and Quy Nhon.
