Troupes from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam are participating in a week-long arts festival in the central province of Quang Tri, which started on August 12.
Each troupe will have around 60 minutes to perform musical pieces ranging from dance performances, to music recitals and instrumental pieces.
The festival is an opportunity for artists to meet, interact and witness the creative offerings of other countries within the ASEAN community.
The festival also aims to strengthen ties and boost cooperation in the field of art and culture.
International troupes will represent their native culture and develop friendships with artists from around the ASEAN community including Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar.
Domestic art groups will focus on representing Vietnam's achievements and aspirations for peace, prosperity and social justice.
All performances may be viewed by the public, free of charge.
