On November 26, in Ha Long city, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with Border Guard High Commands to organize the 8th festival for cultural workers in border and coastal regions in northern Vietnam.
The festival drew the participation of 15 teams of cultural workers from the northern Border Guard with more than 400 actors and actresses. The organizing board will present 30 medals for outstanding performances.
At the opening ceremony, visitors enjoyed art performances by cultural workers from Border Guards in Quang Ninh, Ha Tinh and Thai Binh provinces. Performances praised the homeland, solidarity between soldiers and local people, and border guards at border posts and islands.
The festival will close on November 29.
