Vietnam attends South Africa’s 2014 festival

The Vietnamese embassy in South Africa participated in an economic, trade and tourism festival in South Africa on April 5-6.

Speaking at the event, Vietnamese ambassador to South Africa, Le Huy Hoang told festival goers about the trade and investment opportunities in Vietnam and provided participants insight into the heritage and cultural identity of the Vietnamese people.

He said Vietnam has a huge potential for tourism development that has been developing strongly in recent years.

As a consequence of the increased tourism, Vietnam has been able to elevate its image and introduce visitors to its quality Made in Vietnam products, contributing to boosting economic and trade cooperation he concluded.

At the event, the Vietnamese embassy sponsored special art performances, introducing the country’s handicraft products, cultural books and the beautiful landscapes and culinary arts to visitors.
