The MoU is part of the framework of the coordinating conference on tourism promotion in the European market and the UK. The conference was held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the occasion of the Viet Nam delegation attending the World Travel Market (WTM) in the capital city of the UK.

Accordingly, the two parties will regularly exchange information on investment policies, events and activities in the UK in accordance with the policy on tourism promotion and investment attraction of Quang Ninh province.

They will jointly promote and create favorable conditions for Quang Ninh province’s delegations to the UK and businesses from the UK to Quang Ninh to seek cooperation opportunities, especially in the fields of planning, investment, communications, management and tourism promotion.

Besides, the Vietnamese Embassy in the UK will support Quang Ninh organize tourism, trade promotions and investment attraction programs in the country.

It will open more opportunities for the tourism sector of Quang Ninh Province to expand to the European market, especially the UK market as well as attract more foreign investors to Quang Ninh in the future.

During the time attending the WTM, Quang Ninh and the key tourism localities of Viet Nam organized tourism promotion and advertise activities with the theme Exciting – Viet Nam.

Besides, Quang Ninh province’s tourism sector also introduced and exhibited images, materials about outstanding landscapes and attractive investment projects of the province.
