Update: Nov 14, 2014
Wine, beef and tango mingled with each other to create an impressive Argentina night in Ha Noi.

The event, hosted by the Argentinean Embassy in Viet Nam at Sheraton Hanoi Hotel on November 10, marked the opening of the Vietnamese market to Argentinean food products.

Argentinean Ambassador to Viet Nam Claudio Guitierrez and more than 400 guests enjoyed the South American country’s special beef and high-grade wine such as Malbec, the flagship variety of Argentina, and Torrontes, made from a white grape which is considered the best of its kind in the entire world.

They also had a chance to taste Bonarda wine produced from one of the traditional red grape of Argentina and Cabernet Sauvignon, the king of red wine, among others.

The last decade witnessed the vigorous change of Argentina to become a “supermarket of the world”.

In 2014, Vietnamese consumers had the opportunity to access food products from this country such as beef, seafood, cooking oil, canned food, confectionary, milk products, wine and organic food.
