A conference promoting investment and tourism development cooperation was held in the southern province of Bac Lieu on April 26, attracting over 400 participants from many provinces and travel agencies throughout the country.
The first national festival of “Don ca tai tu”, the musical art that UNESCO has recognised as intangible cultural heritage, officially opened in the southern province of Bac Lieu on April 24 with the participations of artists from 21 provinces and cities in the region.
A festival dedicated to Quan Am (Bodhisattva) Nam Hai opened at the Statue of Bodhisattva area in the Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on April 21.
The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu will host a national festival featuring the UNESCO-recognized performing art of Don ca tai tu from April 20 to 25. There will be 21 art troupes from 21 southern provinces taking part in the event.

Six northern provinces in Vietnam, including Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang once a year organize the tourism program for tourists. One of important targets of the tourism program is to develop tours.
