A slew of cultural, art, cuisine and tourism events are scheduled in the next few months to attract more tourists to HCM City, according to the Department of Tourism.
The 12th Southern Fruit Festival 2016, officially kicked off on June 1 at Suoi Tien Culture and Tourism Site in District 9, Ho Chi Minh City, attracting a large number of visitors.
(TITC) - From 1 to 9 June 2016, in Suoi Tien Culture Tourism Park (No.120 Ha Noi Highway, Ho Chi Minh City), Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Tourism in coordination with Department of Agriculture and Rural, Department of Industry and Trade, Suoi Tien Culture Tourism Joint Stock Company and related units will organize Southern Fruit Festival 2016.
The 12th Southern fruit festival is scheduled to take place in the Suoi Tien Area of Ho Chi Minh City’s District 9 from June 1 to 9.
A craft fruit artwork entitled 'From Dien Bien Phu to the Great Victory of 1975 spring, Vo Nguyen Giap - Forever in our hearts' by artisan Phan Hong Dung won the gold prize at of the Contest on craft fruit art held within the framework of the 2015 Southern Fruit Festival at the Suoi Tien Tourist Park in Ho Chi Minh City.
