Macau (China) resumes flights to Da Nang in March

From 27th April 2022: Foreigners are allowed to enter Vietnam via Van Don International Airport with e-Visa
(TITC) - On 27th April 2022, the Vietnamese Government issued Resolution No. 60/NQ-CP to add Van Don International Airport to (Quang Ninh Province, in the North) the list of international border gates allowing foreigners to enter and exit by e-Visa. The Resolution becomes effective from the date of signing for promulgation.

Nearly 96,500 foreigners apply for e-visa in 2017
As many as 96,478 foreigners requested e-visas on Viet Nam’s immigration portal at https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn in the Feb-December period of 2017, according to the Administration of Immigration under the Ministry of Public Security.  
More than 96,000 foreigners granted e-visa in past nine months
As many as 96,478 foreigners requested and received e-visas in the past nine months (since February 1), including 93,266 that accessed the application system by themselves and 3,212 that completed the procedures through domestic agencies and organisations.
Additional six countries added to Viet Nam’s pilot e-visa programme
Citizens from an additional six countries, alongside the 40 countries that are already permitted, are applicable for e-visas when entering Viet Nam, according to a recently-issued document signed by the Prime Minister.
