Khanh Hoa Provincial Heritage Preservation Center in association with Quang Nam Tourism Service and Cultural Heritage Preservation Company has recently digitized and released 3D versions of two national treasures: statue of King Po Klong Garai and relief of King Po Rome.
Statue of King Po Klong Garai
The statue of King Po Klong Garai, who was revered for his great contributions to the locality and was deified by the people, dates back to the 16th – 17th centuries and is currently worshipped at Po Klong Garai Temple (Do Vinh Ward). Given its distinctive historical, artistic and religious value, the statue of King Po Klong Garai was recognized as a national treasure by the Prime Minister in 2023.
Dating to the 17th century, the relief of King Po Rome is currently housed at Po Rome Tower (Phuoc Huu Commune). It is a unique, original artifact of exceptional value, representing a rare and precious piece of ancient art. The relief of King Po Rome was recognized as a national treasure by in 2020.
