Air Mekong opens flights from Vinh to Pleiku

From December 1, the Mekong Aviation Join-stock Company (Air Mekong) will open a route from Vinh (Nghe An) to Pleiku (Gia Lai).

Accordingly, there will be three flights a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The flights will depart at 5 pm at the Pleiku Airport and depart at 6.45 pm at the Vinh Airport. This is the second flight route linking the centre of the Northern Central region to the Central Highlands.

On the occasion of opening the new flight, Air Mekong will offer discounts on 50 percent of seats at cost of VND 1 million – 1.35 million a ticket (excluding tax and additional fees) until December 15.

From December 1, the carrier will raise operation capacity of the Vinh – Buon Ma Thuot route to four flights a week. The flight schedule is fixed at Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Air Mekong will increase flights on tourism routes from December 23, 2011 to January 3, 2012. Almost all tourism routes will have capacity increased by 1.5 to double with nearly 50 flights from Hanoi to Phu Quoc and Danang and from Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Quoc.
