Award honouring Viet Nam’s top destinations launched

The Viet Nam Tourism Association (VITA) has launched an award honouring the best tourist attractions of the country.

The award is divided into five categories for the best resorts, entertainment complexes, traditional craft villages, museums and beaches with three winners to be announced in each category.

The VITA has published a list of 10 nominations for each category with detailed criteria included at the online tourist website www.tripi.vn for voters to cast their votes from April 7 to 11.

The nominations will also been reviewed by journalists who are members of the VITA-run Travel Journalists Club.

Top-rated destinations will be finalised by VITA’s council on April 12.

The winners of the award will then be announced at the opening ceremony of the Viet Nam International Travel Mart in Ha Noi on April 14.
