An international exhibition themed “All colour of Asia” opened at the State Darwin Museum in Russia’s capital of Moscow on August 26, as part of activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the ASEAN-Russia Agreement on Friendship and Cooperation.
The event displays paintings highlighting unique cultural features of ASEAN countries that Russian artists made during three years travelling through all ten member countries of the bloc, together with works of art from the State Museum of Oriental Art.
Visitors to the 10-day event also have opportunities to enjoy folk music and traditional food of ASEAN nations.
Minister-Counselor Lai Ngoc Doan from the Vietnamese Embassy said that this is a good chance for Viet Nam to introduce its nation and people as well as the country’s renewal achievements to the world.
The exhibition has contributed to fostering the connections among ASEAN countries as well as their friendship with Russia , he added.
The organisation board also presented each honorary guest with an “All colour of Asia” album, which comprises the speech by Russian President V.Putin during the Russia-ASEAN Summit in 2016.
