(TITC) - On 11 December 2016, “Vietnamese Ao dai Space” has been officially launched at Lan Huong Fashion House, 18 Au Co Street, Tay Ho District, Ha Noi to introduce and honor the beauty of Viet Nam traditional dress (ao dai) as well as build the culture – art space for visitors.

The main part of “Vietnamese Ao dai Space” displays samples of ao dai over the historical periods from Ly Dynasty, Tran Dynasty, Nguyen Dynasty to the modern period. Besides, the space also shows the accessories of ao dai such as conical hat, jewelry, wooden shoes, etc.
Coming here, visitors have the opportunity to learn about the process of making ao dai, including designing, tailoring, embroidering and completing. Besides, visitors can also exchange with artisans from craft villages in Ha Noi which produce materials for making ao dai such as silkworm farming village in My Duc District, Van Phuc Silk Village, Quat Dong Embroidery Village, Trieu Khuc Weaving Village, Chuong Conical Hat Village, etc.
“Vietnamese Ao dai Space” has been recognized as standard facility to serve visitors by Ha Noi’s Department of Tourism and is expected to become an attractive destination for visitors when visiting Ha Noi.
