Vietnamese tourism introduced at Belgian tourism fair
Update: Feb 06, 2017
Vietnam Airlines, the national carrier, is running a booth at the Brussels International Tourism Fair to spread information on Vietnamese tourism to Belgians and other Europeans.

Viet Nam’s Ambassador to Belgium Vuong Thua Phong visited the booth on the first day of the fair on February 2 and said Viet Nam’s overseas representative agencies coordinated with the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism, Vietnam Airlines and travel firms to promote Vietnamese tourism.

Viet Nam has created favourable conditions for vistors, especially visa procedures as it issued a decree on the pilot e-visa granting or a reputation on visa exemption for those in some key European countries.

Ambassador Phong said the quality of tourist products is more important to attract EU tourists to Viet Nam than simplifying procedures.

With nearly 800 booths from tourism companies and airlines from 65 countries, the Brussels International Fair, which takes place from February 2-5 at the Heysel Convention & Conference Centre, introduced a wide range of destinations.
