Enhancing the tourism experience in Da Nang City
Update: Jan 15, 2026
Alongside expanding air routes and improving experience services for MICE visitors, Da Nang is gradually strengthening competitiveness and adding value for business and event groups, reinforcing its position as a trusted destination for major corporations and international enterprises.

Da Nang welcomes its first MICE delegation of 2026 on January 4.

Affirming Vietnam’s leading MICE destination

MICE tourism remains a priority for Da Nang, and the continued choice of the city by prominent organisations at the beginning of the year highlights its increasing prestige.

After the launch of the 2026 Da Nang MICE Promotion Programme, the tourism sector reported strong early momentum, welcoming several medium-and large-scale international groups, including Supabase (240 guests), Quantumedge Capital (160) and Kara Coconut (85).

In 2025, Da Nang hosted 250 MICE delegations with over 82,000 guests. The city continues to invest in high-quality facilities, from a 5-star international terminal to extensive 4-5-star hotels.

Da Nang has also actively promoted its MICE and destination wedding offerings in India and the Middle East, reinforcing its capability and appeal as Vietnam’s leading MICE hub.

Practical support for businesses

Under the theme “Enhancing Experiences”, Da Nang is elevating its MICE tourism by blending heritage with innovation and leveraging behavioural analysis to personalise visitor services. The city also introduces unique activities such as cyclo tours while building the brand “Where Heritage Meets the Future” to enrich its appeal.

The city is also calling for stronger cooperation from tourism businesses in promoting destination MICE branding, including a proposed “MICE Standard Checklist” to improve service quality.

Expanded international air routes in 2026 and increased connectivity with Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia and the Middle East are expected to boost arrivals and further strengthen Da Nang’s position on the global tourism map.

The 2026 MICE Promotion Programme targets to welcome nearly 93,000 MICE visitors, up 12% year-on-year, with expanded eligibility (groups of 70+ for domestic and 30+ for international delegations). There will be new recognition for outstanding MICE enterprises and special benefits for repeat delegations.
