The An Giang Trade and Investment Promotion Center has launched the tourism product Colorful Raft Village at the confluence of Chau Doc River, at Cham Da Phuoc Village Residential Area, Da Phuoc Town, An Phu District, An Giang provivce.

The colorful raft village at the confluence of Chau Doc River was developed from August 2023 in Da Phuoc town, An Phu district. The project was implemented with a budget of more than 2 billion VND to decorate and repaint 165 fish rafts of the villagers. The raft village has existed for over 50 years.
The fish rafts, stretching nearly 1km long on the Chau Doc River, are decorated with six color blocks: red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple to attract tourists. Visitors to the Chau Doc colorful raft village will take the river from Chau Doc to visit the colorful village.
Mr. Le Trung Hieu, Director of the An Giang Trade and Investment Promotion Center, said that the colorful raft village at the confluence of Chau Doc River is a unique tourism product in the river region that has always been put into exploitation, creating a highlight in the Chau Doc river confluence area.
The colorization of the raft village creates an array of intertwined colors, beautiful effects, along with a number of famous tourist services such as brocade weaving and Cham village, attracting tourists to come to check-in and experience.
Besides the raft village, Da Phuoc town (An Phu district) is famous for brocade weaving, Cham village and two mosques Ehsan and Sunnah, with unique architecture and places of religious activities of the Cham community./.
