The Da Nang New Year Festival 2026 a citywide celebration featuring an extensive series of cultural, artistic, and tourism activities, will take from December 30, 2025, to January 3, 2026.

Festival activities will be distributed across several prominent venues, including the northern landscape platform on the eastern end of Dragon Bridge in An Hai Ward; the riverside park area between Tran Hung Dao and Ly Nam De streets; the northern landscape platform on the western end of the Dragon Bridge opposite VTV8; and the southern platform on the western bank opposite the Museum of Cham Sculpture in Hai Chau Ward.
Additional programmes will also take place along Bach Dang pedestrian street, the An Hoi sculpture garden, Tam Thanh Beach Square in Quang Phu Ward, and 24/3 Square in Ban Thach Ward.
Beyond Da Nang centre, the festival will include activity linkages with major tourism destinations in the region.
They are Sun World Ba Na Hills, VinWonders Nam Hoi An, Hoi An Memories Island, Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, Danang Mikazuki Japanese Resort & Spa, Dong Giang Heaven Gate ecological tourism complex, Da Nang International Airport, Chu Lai Airport, and Da Nang Railway Station.
The five-day celebration is expected to feature a diverse lineup of performances, experiences, and entertainment activities.
Key highlights include photobooth check-in spaces; the festival’s official opening ceremony with large-scale artistic shows; the ‘Da Nang - New Year 2026 Boulevard’ programme; the Cheer Fest culinary space; and a variety of cultural performances.
A sunrise run titled ‘Welcoming the First Dawn of the New Year’ will also be held.
In addition, Da Nang will organise welcoming events for the first air and rail passengers arriving in the city in 2026, along with tourism stimulus programs and partner-connection activities.
The festival aims to enrich Da Nang’s year-end cultural calendar, enhance the city’s overall event ecosystem for the 2025 - 2026 period, and further strengthen destination promotion efforts.
By creating a festive atmosphere with wide public participation, Da Nang expects the event to help stimulate tourism demand and reinforce its image as a vibrant, year-round tourism hub in central Vietnam.
