Vietnam highly appreciates French support for Vietnam's efforts to preserve and restore its tangible heritage sites and implement its human resource training projects.
The statement was made by Vietnamese Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh during talks with Chairwoman of the French Senate's Committee on Culture, Education and Communication Marie Christine Blandin in Hanoi on March 6.
The working visit of the French Senate delegation led by Blandin has taken place when the two countries are busy preparing cultural and art activities to mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and France.
Vietnam and France have increasingly tightened their cultural relations over the years. With the motto ‘Recognising and respecting Vietnamese cultural diversity’, the French Government has helped Vietnam train artists in dancing, cinematography, music and other activities.
