(TITC) - Following the success of East - West Economic Corridor Investment, Trade and Tourism International Expo - Da Nang 2012, Peopl's Committee of Da Nang City in collaboration with Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Da Nang Investment Promotion Center will continue to organize East - West Economic Corridor Investment, Trade and Tourism International Expo - Da Nang 2013 (EWEC Expo - Da Nang 2013).
The expo will last 5 days from 9th to 13th August 2013 at Da Nang Exhibition Center (9 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, Cam Le District, Da Nang City).
EWEC Expo - Da Nang 2013 is organized to promote the image of economy, investment promotion, trade and tourism for countries in East - West Economic Corridor (Viet Nam, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar) and enterprises and investors from developed countries such as Japan, U.S.A, Singapore, China...; EWEC Expo - Da Nang 2013 also facilitates for commerce and tourism enterprises of these countries to meet, exchange, introduce products and seek opportunities on investment, business, technology transfer and market expansion.
The expo is expected to attract about 500 booths of domestic and foreign enterprises to introduce products, images of the fields such as real estate, electricity, electronics, information technology, machinery and equipment serving industry, agriculture; chemistry and fuel; furniture; handicrafts, textiles, tourism, bank, aviation, construction materials...
In the framework of the expo, many auxiliary activities also are organized such as workshops on calling investment in EWEC; music exchange programs, games, lucky draw; promotional programs for consumers...
The direction of Da Nang City is sustainable economic development, of which focus on exploiting trade and tourism service. EWEC Expo - Da Nang 2013 is opportunity for Da Nang to introduce tourism potentials and strengths, craft villages... to international friends and create demand stimulus in trade and tourism promotion activities of the city in the coming time.
