The 2013 Southern Land Cusine Festival, featuring over 100 booths from 15 central and southern provinces, will open at the Dam Sen Cultural Park in Ho Chi Minh City on May 16.
The four-day festival, which is scheduled to run until May 19, will showcase products from 60 food and beverage businesses in the region.
Visitors will be introduced to well-known dishes, drinks and culinary specialties displayed at individually decorated stands reflecting the cuisine and culture of southern Vietnam.
The event also offers visitors the chance to discover the cultural value of Vietnamese food and drinks, specifically those in the south, and enjoy artistic performances and take part in folk games from the region.
