(TITC) - Responding to the National Tourism Stimulus Program 2013, on 23rd May, Ben Tre's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism hold a conference on complementing tourism stimulus program.
The conference had the attendance of representatives from Ben Tre's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ben Tre's Trade Promotion Centre (Department of Trade and Industry), press agencies and provincial travel businesses.
There have been a lot of travel businesses participating in the tourism stimulus program with a commitment to discount while ensuring services quality aiming to raise the number of tourist arrivals and total tourism revenue.
Some of the businesses also committed to discount 10%-20% of the tour prices, fares, restaurant services including Con Phung, Cho Lach Co., Ltd, Ham Luong Co., Ltd (3-star Ham Luong hotel), Viet-Uc Co., Ltd (3-star Viet-Uc Hotel), Lo Hoi Co., Ltd (3-star Forever Green Resort)...
In addition, buying service of travel businesses joining in the tourism stimulus program 2013, tourists will have more chance to get free extra-services.
According to Ben Tre's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, there have been so far 40 tourist businesses taking part in the stimulus program in 2013 including 12 tour operators, 17 hotels, 5 restaurants, 5 tourist attractions, shopping businesses and 1 transport company.
