Closing ceremony of National Contest of Hotel Front Office 2013

(TITC) - On 16th October 2013, the final examination and closing ceremony of National Contest of Hotel Front Office 2013 was held at Hai Phong Municipal Theatre.

 

 

Attending the final examination and closing ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan - Director General of Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Deputy Director General of VNAT, representatives of departments of VNAT, some provincial departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism and journalists.

The National Contest of Hotel Front Office 2013 was officially closed after 3 examinations including preliminary, foreign language and final ones. The preliminary and foreign examinations were held from 13th to 15th October at Camela Hotel (Hai Phong City).

The final examination of the contest took place from 14h00 to 17h00 at Hai Phong Municipal Theatre. As a result, the organization board awarded 1 first prize, 3 second ones and 6 third ones for 10 best excellent examinees. In particular, the first prize was awarded for Ngo Thi Lan Huong (Intercontinental West Lake Hotel, Ha Noi), 3 second ones were awarded for Tran Diem Phuong (Caravelle Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City), Do Manh Tuan (Majestic Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City), Do Thi Ngoc Lan (Ana Mandara Resort, Khanh Hoa Province); 6 third ones were awarded for Bui Kim Yen (Continental Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City), Le Anh Thu (Intercontinental Da Nang Sun Peninsula Resort, Da Nang City), Le Thi Thuy Linh (Palace Hotel, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province), Nguyen Dieu Hai (Crown Plaza Da Nang Hotel, Da Nang City), Tran Kha Nguyen Bao (Grand Hotel, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province), Nguyen Cong Chinh (Grand Plaza Ha Noi Hotel, Ha Noi). In addition, the organization board also awarded extra prizes such as "The best elegant hotel front office", "The best costume", "The best behavior"...

The National Contest of Hotel Front Office 2013 is opportunity for hotel receptionists to improve knowledge and skills to contribute to raising tourism service quality and meeting requirements of tourists.
