On March 30, Japan's largest carrier All Nippon Airways (ANA) officially launched a direct air route from Noi Bai airport (Hanoi) to Haneda airport (Tokyo) with daily flight service.
The first flight NH857 departing from Haneda airport carried 208 passengers to Noi Bai airport, while the return NH858 brought 180 passengers.
This is the second flight of ANA to operate in Vietnam. The carrier has operated flights linking Ho Chi Minh city to Narita (Tokyo) since 2001. The flight increase will expand ANA’s air network between Japan and Viet Nam.
At the launching ceremony, Mr. Ryoichi Fujisaki, ANA General Director in Vietnam, said that ANA believes that the launching of the new air route will contribute to intensifying business relations and cooperation between the two countries.
