The riverside resort will dish up buffets with more than 70 selected southern dishes at 5 p.m. on October 18, and at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on October 19. Diners will also enjoy songs about mothers performed live, play folk games and join a lucky draw. Buffet tickets are VND250,000 (US$11.9) for an adult and VND140,000 for a child. Customers get one ticket free when booking 11.

Binh Quoi 2 Resort (the end of Binh Quoi St., Binh Thanh Dist., HCMC)

A buffet with delicious dishes of fishing villages will be put on at 5 p.m. on October 19. Diners will be treated the food and drinks and a music show in an airy, quiet setting. The buffet costs VND250,000 for an adult and VND130,000 for a child. Customers will have to pay for only 15 tickets if they book 16, and females will have free drinks.

Binh Quoi 2 Resort offers customers a 50% discount on renting space for a meeting or conference, and a 10% discount on the menu of a party with at least 10 tables.

Van Thanh Tourist Area (48/10 Dien Bien Phu St., Binh Thanh Dist., HCMC)

Van Thanh Tourist Area will prepare a buffet with more than 50 new dishes at 5 p.m. on October 19. Diners are also entertained with live music. Buffet tickets are VND250,000 for an adult and VND140,000 for a child. Customers are offered one ticket free for every 11 bought in advance.

As to parties with set menus from October 17-20, the resort cuts 10% on service fee and 5% on food prices, and offers free decoration.

On October 20, Dung Dinh Café will serve breakfast at VND105,000 for a serving and lunch at VND115,000 for a serving.

Tan Cang Tourist Area (A100 Ung Van Khiem St., Binh Thanh Dist., HCMC)

Tan Cang Tourist Area will arrange a buffet with more than 80 seafood and meat dishes at 5 p.m. on October 20. Desserts include Italian ice cream and seasonal fruits. Prices are VND290,000 for an adult and VND160,000 for a child. A 10% discount is given to customers who reserve in advance.

In October, any buffet ticket for an adult is given a glass of Sapporo draft beer on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Saigon Floating Restaurant (10B Ton Duc Thang St., Dist. 1, HCMC)

The Saigon Restaurant Ship will serve a buffet with more than 50 selected dishes at 10:30 a.m. on October 19. Diners will enjoy the buffet and a variety show while the ship is cruising along the Saigon River. The buffet costs VND230,000 for an adult and VND120,000 for a child. Customers will pay for 10 tickets when buying 11 beforehand, and female customers are offered a free glass of cocktail.

From October 1 to December 20, the restaurant ship offers incentives for customers who hold a party for more than 50 diners on board.

Saigon-Ha Long Hotel (Ha Long St., Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province)

The hotel serves buffets with selected dishes every day from October 10-20. The buffet ticket prices range from VND250,000 to VND350,000.
