Binh Quoi 1 Resort is serving buffets with southern dishes from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5 p.m.-8 p.m. on November 20, 21, 22 and 23. Diners will enjoy more than 70 selected dishes while watching a variety show, folk games and a lucky draw. Typical dishes include grilled snakehead fish, grilled chicken covered with clay, rice vermicelli with fermented-fish sauce and vegetables, and rice pancakes.

Buffet tickets are sold at VND250,000 (US$11.9) for an adult and VND140,000 for a child. For every 11 tickets bought, customers will be given one free.

Considering its location by the Sai Gon River, Binh Quoi 1 Resort is among the popular entertainment and gastronomic venues in HCMC. The resort serves weekend buffets featuring dishes of the time when people migrating southwards to reclaim the new land.

From now until November 20, Binh Quoi 2 Resort offers a 50% discount on meeting room rental and a 10% discount for dishes (for parties with at least 10 tables).

Compared with its sister resort Binh Quoi 1, Binh Quoi 2 Resort looks more elegant with tens of well-furnished bungalows by the Sai Gon River. The resort has diverse facilities such as restaurants, swimming pool, tennis courts and meeting rooms. To welcome Viet Nam Teachers’ Day (November 20), Van Thanh Tourist Park offers a 10% discount on parties celebrating the Teachers’ Day on November 20.

Customers having a-la-carte dishes worth more than VND2.5 million are given a weekend buffet ticket each, and two same tickets for bills of over VND5 million each.

Located two kilometers from the city downtown, Van Thanh Tourist Park provides a countryside setting. The park offers wonderful gastronomic services, including buffets with more than 50 European and Asian dishes from 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday as well as other gastronomic programs during weekdays. Its signature dishes are chicken roasted in a big clay jar served with fried glutinous rice, grilled beef with green peppers, and pork roasted in a clay jar served with banh hoi (rice strings folded into layers).

The tourist park serves buffets with grilled foods and hot pots at 5 p.m. on November 1 until December 3. Diners will enjoy more than 80 dishes from seafood and meats and desserts such as Italian ice cream and seasonal fruits. Buffet tickets are VND290,000 for an adult and VND160,000 for a child. Each adult ticket is accompanied by a free glass of Sapporo draft beer on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Customers pay a bill worth from VND2.5 million for a-la-carte dishes can receive one food and beverage ticket, and a bill valued at VND5 million or more, two tickets.

To celebrate the Viet Nam Teachers’ Day (November 20), the hotel also offers discounts for customers who book a party: a 10% discount for ordering a buffet at First Buffet Restaurant and a 10% discount for taking an a-la-carte meal at First Grill Restaurant.

In its Happy Day program, First Hotel offers special discounts on Wednesday at Buffet Restaurant, at only VND120,000 per diner of the lunch buffet, VND170,000 per diner of the dinner buffet, and VND15,000 for a glass of Tiger draft beer.

The full package for a wedding party, including drinks and rituals, is only from VND3.39 million per table (of 10 guests). The hotel gives a 10% discount for a lunch party from Monday to Friday.

In its Happy Hours program, First Hotel offers a 50% discount for Tiger draft beer from 1-5 p.m. at Lobby Bar.
