Introducing “Cultural heritage and tourism development in Viet Nam” program in France

(TITC) - On 23 January 2015, in Salons Hoche (No 9, Avenue Hoche, 75008 Paris, France), Vietnamese Culture Centre in France (CCV) will organize the program “Cultural heritage and tourism development in Viet Nam”. This event is in the framework of National Tourism Promotion Program and is start of Plan for tourism promotion in Europe in the period 2015 – 2017 of Vietnamese State Steering Committee on Tourism.

The program “Cultural heritage and tourism development in Viet Nam” aims to introduce and promote intangible and tangible cultural heritage of Viet Nam recognized by UNESCO; tourism tours, routes and products associated with world cultural heritage in Viet Nam to attract tourists and tourism investors in France and Europe.

According to CCV, the program will have the participation of Secretary of State in charge of Foreign Trade, Tourism Promotion and French Overseas (under French Ministry of Foreign Affairs); representatives of Atout France (French Tourism Promotion Agency), Paris Ile de France Chamber of Commerce and Industry; top 10 French tour operators specializing in sending tourists to Viet Nam; 60 French travel agencies; 5 tour operators specializing in picking Vietnamese tourists to France; 2 cruise firms; foreign airlines in Paris offering flights to Viet Nam; 5 large labor unions of France and French media.

On the side of Viet Nam, there will have the attendance of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism delegation; representatives of Embassy of Viet Nam in France, Permanent Delegation to UNESCO and press agencies of Viet Nam in France, Vietnam Airlines in Paris; leaders of Vietnamese Association in France; Viet  Nam Tourism Association.

In the framework of the program “Cultural heritage and tourism development in Viet Nam”, some outstanding activities will also take place such as working with Secretary of State in charge of tourism of France and Atout France on bilateral tourism cooperation in period 2015-2017; receiving representatives of Club Med, some French tour operators and local press; surveying typical cultural institutions of France and learning about management mode in some tourist attractions in Paris...
