A press conference to introduce the 9th European Food Festival by Eurocham took place on May 6th in Ha Noi, announcing that this year’s event will take place on May 9th at the lush grounds of Ha Noi’s National Library.
The Festival will include 26 food booths and one special mobile food booth. The Embassies of Spain and Italy will have their own food booths and will offer specific delicacies from their respective countries.
Chefs from different hotels and restaurants will present their takes on classic and new European dishes and major brands will offer a selection of their produce for the enjoyment of the visitors. On this day, EuroCham invites the public of Ha Noi to take part in the festival of European cuisine and culture in the year that the two sides celebrate 25 years of diplomatic relations.
The festival promises the visitors a great cultural journey through the Northern, Central and Mediterranean cuisines of Europe, with a selection of some of the wonderful dishes that have made the region world famous.
For the small visitors there will be various children’s activities, including a giant bouncing castle, creative and sportive games, and exciting scientific experiments using food.
As a new and exciting feature this year visitors, in exchange for their tickets, will receive a passport filled with vouchers for all kinds of food and drinks. The passport is also part of a fun game together with Vietnam Airlines.
The European Food Festival is one of the main festivals to celebrate Europe’s rich and diverse culinary heritage and to promote European brands of food and drink to a public audience in Viet Nam. The last edition of the festival attracted more than 1,100 participants.
